Fernández: He refused to read the bill he wrote. They are so ashamed of it, they couldn’t even read it aloud—because they know it’s shameful to give tax breaks to tanning beds and take away hospital beds.
Who likes tanning beds? There’s a certain personality who has a very orange hue about him.
🚨 They’re getting closer and closer to their dream of a national abortion ban.
Late tonight, Republicans changed their budget bill again—this time to stop ACA insurance plans from covering abortion care. That means higher costs and fewer options for nearly 1 in 7 Americans.
It wasn't enough to cut Medicaid, Medicare, and SNAP—Republicans just voted to authorize themselves to RAISE YOUR TAXES without the required 3/5th vote.
Their 60 page, last minute amendment says it plain and simple.
They are getting ready to raise taxes on low income working families.
I have some Trump Tanning Bed gift certificates for any Republican who votes for this bill so they can enjoy the benefits of the bill they’re voting for.
They claim to be worried about the deficit but…
We’re 12 hours into our hearing. Here’s what’s happening:
Republicans are slashing $300 billion from food assistance—taking meals from kids, veterans & seniors to give billionaires more tax cuts.
That’s the opposite of what scripture asks us to do.
You can’t make this up.
Republicans snuck a “tanning bed tax break” in their bill—the same bill that’s going to make hospitals go under and take away hospital beds.
They’re too ashamed to even say it, too.
We’re living through a reverse Robin Hood nightmare…
This says it all.
Republicans are taking from the poor to give tax cuts to the richest Americans.
If you’re a working parent, a veteran, a woman, a student, or live in rural America — this bill is an attack on you.
It’s 4AM and we’re still here—fighting to save Medicaid, SNAP, and Medicare while Republicans try to rip them apart in the dead of night to give tax cuts to billionaires.
Americans might be waking up thinking they’re having a nightmare—but the real nightmare is this Bad Billionaires Budget Bill.
They're not just cutting Medicaid. They're cutting Medicare too—by $500 billion.
Is ripping health care away from 13 million Americans not exciting enough to stay awake, Rep. Norman?
