My colleagues on the House Financial Services Committee and I are tackling the housing crisis head-on. Three of my bipartisan housing bills cleared their first hurdle in committee yesterday– each aimed boosting America's housing supply. We're one step closer to a Floor vote!
We can keep tens of millions of Americans insured and reduce the deficit. The Fix It Act is the only plan to extend ACA tax credits that pays for itself — saving taxpayers $90 billion over the next decade.
We have a bipartisan plan to help tens of millions of Americans stay on their health care, and it’s the only proposal that will save taxpayers money.
Our coalition is growing because this is a fiscally responsible solution that lawmakers on both sides of the aisle can support.
Thank you to the incredible volunteers at Martha’s Kitchen for preparing Thanksgiving food boxes and hot meals for families across San José. Your work has helped thousands of our neighbors —including our federal employees during the shutdown.
Joined by 32 House colleagues, I’m demanding answers–and pushing for better policy. I’m grateful to our local leaders, Destination: Home, and non-profit service providers for providing homes for deserving families in our community. [2/2]
The Trump Administration’s changes to the $3.8 billion Continuum of Care program threaten to push more than 2,000 of our neighbors in San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties into homelessness. [1/2]
Today, Rep. Nunn, Rep. Lawler, and Rep. Khanna joined
as cosponsors, and we're going to keep building momentum. [2/2]
Congressional dysfunction is really a symptom of something bigger: people who disagree have stopped communicating. The Fix It Act, a bipartisan effort to extend Affordable Care Act tax credits to reduce skyrocketing health insurance premiums, started by reaching across the aisle. [1/2]
I sent a letter to HUD Secretary Turner urging him to reverse this dangerous decision, and 32 colleagues have joined me. Americans deserve answers — and a real plan — to reduce homelessness. [2/2]
By slashing permanent supportive housing funds in the Continuum of Care Program with no transition plan, the Trump Administration pushes our most vulnerable neighbors into the street and throws communities into chaos. [1/2]
We have bipartisan solutions, like the Fix It Act, that enable us to address skyrocketing premiums, keep Americans insured, and pay for itself by cutting waste and fraud. [2/2]

Now that the President has finally expressed a willingness to do something, we’re ready to negotiate a plan that actually lowers costs and keeps Americans covered. [1/2]

Thanks to everyone who stopped by our table at the Half Moon Bay Farmers Market — it was great talking with so many of you in person. If you missed us, don’t worry–we host regular office hours across the community. [1/2]
We have a solution to the health care affordability crisis facing tens of millions of Americans. The Fix It Act would extend ACA tax credits for two years and pay for it.
Donald Trump’s proposed replacement for the ACA tax credits will not help lower insurance costs. You can listen to more about how the Fix It Act will work and how we’ll pay for it on NPR’s Here & Now:

Political violence has no place in our country.
We will do all we can to stop this plan that would devastate our coast and the many jobs that depend on its preservation. 2/2]

Hey, Donald Trump, keep your drill out of our grill.
I’ve cosponsored four bills led by my colleagues, @rephuffman.bsky.social, @usrepjimmypanetta.bsky.social, @carbajal.house.gov, and @levin.house.gov, to defend our coastline. [1/2]
Political violence has no place in America, and this man has no place in the White House.
