Thank you to the Bay Area Muslim Council and the Arab Christian communities at the Unity Palo Alto Spiritual Center who welcomed me Monday. Our discussion on difficult subjects ranging from war abroad to Islamophobia at home, spurred my own thinking. I’m grateful for all who shared their views.
Thrilled to join @sjsuprezmatson to announce federal grant of over $1 million for @sanjosestate’s new Micro Maker Space. With new equipment & training, these students can learn to prototype semiconductor designs to power our #InnovationEconomy Congratulations @SJSUEngineering

Happy Holi! Thank you @aia.events and Dr. Ramesh Konda for inviting me to participate in the Festival of Colors with thousands of community members enjoying the day at Discovery Meadow. Holi celebrates unity and the rejuvenation of spring and reminds us to embrace the color and love in our lives.
Join me for a town hall next Saturday, March 14 at Mountain View High School. I’ll answer your questions about Iran, the DHS shutdown, our work to lower costs, and more. RSVP here to let us know if you can make it: forms.gle/Gbqz1zuHGsPm...
Why are we providing sanctions relief to a country targeting America's sons and daughters? I'll be demanding answers and accountability from the Treasury Secretary in front of the Financial Services Committee.
Good riddance, Kristi Noem.
Firing Noem is a start, but we need an agency that stops firing at innocent humans.

Happy Holi to all celebrating in our community and beyond! May this Festival of Colors bring joy, renewal, and brighter days ahead.
When AI developers tell us when to use the brakes on their products, we should listen.
Instead of listening, the Pentagon is threatening.
We may not be any safer with machines that can think like humans, but humans absolutely become less safe when we think like machines.

This week, I’ll review the unredacted Epstein Files at the DOJ. I seek your partnership.

I look forward to working with colleagues in both houses and both parties to pass this bill, and help deliver the resources our cities need to thrive.
The MINT Act cuts red tape and gives local communities a green light on projects that expand hospitals, rebuild crumbling bridges, and improve our children’s schools.

I value the chance to meet one-on-one during community office hours, and hear directly about the issues that matter most to you. This weekend we spent a few hours at Orchard Valley Coffee, a happy haunt of mine when I lived in Campbell 20 years ago.
We recently celebrated more than $14 million in Community Project Funding that we delivered back home. Over $6 million will help address our housing crisis in separate projects in Mountain View, San José, Pacifica, and the West Valley.
