How cutting Medicaid could upend long-term care for many older Americans

Republicans have proposed cuts to Medicaid that would devastate the services older Americans rely on. Our seniors spent their lives working and contributing to our communities—this plan to abandon them as they age is simply cruel.

Experts told PBS News that there are ways to ensure older adults get the quality and type of care they need, but most require more resources, not less.
