I'm proud to lead legislation that expands urban farming and helps ensure every community has access to healthy, affordable food.

📍Visiting an Inspired Growing farm at Wakeman Elementary in Jersey City
🌱 Urban agriculture fights food insecurity and builds stronger communities. Great to see how Wakeman Elementary is helping ensure students have access to healthy options while learning hands-on through growing.
Appreciate the opportunity to join today’s important conversation on the work that remains to end the harm ICE is inflicting on all of our communities. In these difficult times, I know deep in my heart, that we shall overcome.
💪 Thank you to Make the Road NJ for all the work you and your members do every single day.
📍Joining Make the Road NJ and state leaders in Elizabeth
Went back to Delaney Hall today with Rep. Pallone to conduct an oversight visit & to meet with our constituents who are being detained there.
Each visit is more heartbreaking than the last. Mothers & fathers who have been separated from their children.
The fight continues & we will not relent.
We were so impressed with everyone's creative submissions that address real-world issues facing our communities. It’s such a privilege to represent such innovative students!
Thankful for their participation and the opportunity to meet with them to discuss their apps!
Congratulations to all of our 2025 Congressional App Challenge winners!
Congratulations to all the new police officers who have been sworn in to the Newark Police Department!
Such a historic moment for our Latino community, and I look forward to working with them and Mayor Baraka to keep our communities across Newark safe.
But you can! Join our initiative to stop the warehousing of human beings in New Jersey:
Tom has been silent when Americans were shot in broad daylight. Tom has been silent when ICE moved to purchase a warehouse to detain our neighbors. Tom will never find his voice to stand up to Trump and stand up for our communities.
Rep. Tom Kean ignored the pleas of his own constituents and even GOP councilmembers in his own district. Now ICE has purchased a warehouse in Roxbury to create a massive detention facility.
My statement on ICE's purchase of a warehouse in Roxbury.
Join our initiative to stop ICE'S NJ expansion: menendez.house.gov/stop-ices-nj...
Another major setback for the Trump Administration in their crusade to make life more expensive for hardworking Americans.
This SCOTUS decision is yet another clear example that the Constitution is on our side.
If you want to lend your voice in saying NO to ICE’s proposed expansion, join our initiative to help us oppose the proposed facility at the link in our bio.
This week I went with @hereswhykevin.bsky.social to the warehouse in Roxbury where DHS has proposed a new ICE processing center.
Not only am I against the expansion of ICE’s footprint in NJ - I’ve been working since I got to Congress to shut them down.

Too many JC residents are being priced out of the community they built.
I'm proud to stand with Mayor Solomon as his admin takes action to crack down on illegal rent increases & protect tenants. Look forward to continuing to partner together to make our communities more accessible & affordable.
Pressure works.
Now let's get our hardworking men and women back to work and deliver on the modern infrastructure that NJ deserves.
Our state should not invest public funds in companies like Palantir that support ICE’s unconscionable actions.
I urge the NJ State Investment Council to review this investment and consider all options, including divestment. Our state’s investments should reflect our values and protect NJ families.
