We went to ICE’s HQ today with our Democratic colleagues to deliver a clear message: ICE has to go.
That’s why we’re voting NO on DHS funding.
Our office is here - and always will be here - to protect our communities and neighbors.
Thank you to everyone who joined our town hall last night!
In these perilous times, we will keep showing up and fighting to protect our communities - like we've always done.
This weekend's ICE activity was extremely distressing for many of us. Please know that we are here for you.
If you or your family need assistance with an immigration matter, please call our office at (201) 309-0301 or visit our website. Our office is here to serve you.
As we celebrate #BlackHistoryMonth, we honor the countless contributions Black Americans have made to NJ and our nation.
Today and every day, we remember that Black history is American history and recommit ourselves to the fight for a more just and equal nation.
A judge again confirmed what we've said all along: Members of Congress have a legal right to visit detention facilities unannounced to inspect conditions.
We’ll keep fighting back, conducting lawful oversight, and defending due process.
My message to our neighbors on today’s ICE activity.
Please visit menendez.house.gov if you need help with an immigration matter or any federal issue. Our office is here to serve you.

Let’s get Liam home. Let’s get paramilitaries out of our communities. Let’s end ICE. Let us begin to heal from this national nightmare.
“With a judicial finger in the constitutional dike, It is so ORDERED.” - Judge Biery
So Congress has an obligation to use every ounce of leverage it has. We cannot provide funding for the status quo. Not for a day. Not for two weeks. Not for another minute. We must hold the line.
And the Trump Administration is doubling down on an approach that has led to the death of American citizens and has shown no remorse or willingness to change course.
I will be voting NO on this funding deal. Here’s why:
ICE must no longer exist.
DHS needs to be completely restructured.
Noem needs to go.
📍 Honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with Hudson County Community College at their 4th annual memorial in Jersey City
🤝 Great to be with HCCC President Reber and our community to reflect on Dr. King’s legacy. Together, we shall overcome these perilous times.
While the Trump Admin wants to silence dissent, we will not let them. We - the American people - will be everywhere from the streets of Minneapolis to the House Floor to Grove St. calling out this Admin and holding them accountable. We will not be silenced.
The arrests of Don Lemon and Georgia Fort are a direct assault on the First Amendment - something Republicans used to defend.
Our fight continues until this national nightmare ends and Liam returns to his family and friends.
The image of Liam Ramos being apprehended outside his home almost broke me.
I went to the House Floor not just to call out Republicans for their silence but to let all those feeling the weight of this moment know they are not alone.
Your voice matters in this fight. RSVP here:
