I’ve lived in Colorado nearly all my life.
From Douglas County — where I grew up— to the suburban, rural & mountain communities in Northern & Western Colorado I’m honored to serve, there is no debate that we live in the best state in the country!
Happy Colorado Day!

One year ago today, emergency response teams were fighting wildfires in Larimer and Boulder counties. We remain incredibly grateful to the brave first responders who acted swiftly to fight the flames and our communities who came together to help neighbors in need.
“Led by Assistant Minority Leader Joe Neguse, the lawmakers said their unannounced visits, without interference from the Executive Branch, remain necessary because ICE facilities have often failed to afford basic standards of care.”

🚨BREAKING: I’m leading a lawsuit today against the Trump-Vance administration for obstructing congressional oversight at ICE facilities, in violation of federal law.

Grateful to join local leaders and folks from across Eagle County at our “Coffee with your Congressman” event in Gypsum earlier this week!
My wife Andrea — who is a breast cancer survivor — and I are so grateful to see Coach Prime overcome his battle with cancer, and are wishing him some well-deserved rest and recovery before the football season! #SkoBuffs 🦬

Had an incredible time this weekend in Larimer County hosting two town halls and connecting with folks at the Fort Collins Farmers Market. Grateful for every conversation and the chance to hear directly from our community.
Western and Northern Colorado know all too well the toll of wildfires — from the East Troublesome to the Cameron Peak Fires.
Proud to join @bennet.senate.gov in efforts to strengthen a key program to boost wildfire mitigation, watershed health, and forest resiliency across the country.
The Trump Administration has illegally frozen over $425 billion in federal funding for local law enforcement, education programs, food assistance, emergency response & preparedness, and more.
Today, we’re taking action to urge the courts to block this blatantly unlawful directive.
Serving our district and state means showing up in EVERY community.
That’s why I’ve held 14 town halls across Northern & Western Colorado over just the past seven months — including this past weekend in both Red Feather Lakes and Laporte.
My Republican colleagues should do the same!
Appreciated the opportunity to visit with farmers and local producers this morning at the Fort Collins Farmers Market, and to thank the folks at Nourish Colorado for all they do for the most vulnerable in our community in Larimer County. 🙏🏾
🚨Excited to host TWO town-halls this weekend in Larimer County — in Red Feather Lakes & Laporte. Looking forward to hearing directly from our community and hope you can join us. More info here 👉🏾 neguse.house.gov/town-halls
Today I joined with several leaders in the House — @raskin.house.gov, Rep. Bennie Thompson, and @jayapal.house.gov — calling for oversight by the SEC into ICE’s alleged no-bid contracts with for-profit prisons.
The American people deserve answers!
🚨🚨 Proposed cuts by the Trump Administration to NOAA would gut critical climate research, delay severe weather warnings, and undermine programs that protect millions of Americans.
We will keep fighting back this dangerous plan with every legislative tool at our disposal.
For months, an overwhelming majority of the American people have spoken out against Republicans’ disastrous legislation that provides tax cuts to billionaires at the expense of health care for millions.
The poll below says it all. 👇🏾
🚨 Our bill to support rural water authorities in Eagle County passed the House!
Grateful to work at the local level to help create lasting opportunities for the folks of Eagle County and our mountain communities.

Republicans are quick to champion Trump’s mass deportation policies, which are wreaking havoc & ripping families apart — until those same actions impact THEIR communities.
Your daily reminder that Republicans are — literally — recessing the House of Representatives early to avoid voting on the release of the Epstein files.
Rather than voting on Rep. Tom Massie’s legislation to release the files — which I support — they will recess the House early.
Shameful!
