It’s Income Tax Day! 💰 Unfortunately, this administration isn’t interested in working for Americans—today or any other day. Trump promised an extra $1,000 in tax refunds, but families are receiving 65% less. With the cost of living surging, families are left footing the bill. It’s just plain wrong.

Financial tip of the day: No savings? No safety net. Work your way up to setting aside at least three months of expenses in case of an emergency or unanticipated event.💡
As your Member of Congress, I’ve worked closely with legislators, educators, and community leaders to have financial literacy in our schools across Ohio’s Third Congressional District. I look forward to continuing financial literacy opportunities for families and young people nationwide.

Happy Easter, Ohio! I am wishing you all a joyful day full of renewal and fellowship with loved ones.
Wishing a holy Good Friday to all who celebrate. May this be a time of gratitude, reflection, and grace. ✝️
Wishing you and your loved ones a meaningful Passover. May this season of freedom and renewal bring peace, hope, and togetherness to all who celebrate. 🕯️✡️
Yesterday, at the American Electric Power CEO Immersion Day in DC, I had the chance to speak to employees from the Columbus HQ team. It was inspiring to share ideas, hear their perspectives, and speak to the strength of partnerships across our teams to help empower our communities.
The Republican "SAVE Act" doesn't "save" anything — it TAKES. This isn't about voter fraud or immigrants. It's about silencing women and communities of color at the ballot box. I made it clear at this week's 37th Delta Day on the Hill, because we need everyone on board to protect voting rights.
This week, I proudly joined my DST sorors, for the 37th Delta Days at the Nation's Capitol. As Dean of the Capitol Hill Deltas, I will always lead the charge in turning advocacy into social action — because in the face of adversity, Deltas ALWAYS rise. #DDNC2026 #OneDeltaOneMission
Today, we honor the 16th anniversary of the ACA, which expanded affordable healthcare coverage to 50+ million Americans. Yet, Republicans refused to extend the tax credits, doubling and tripling costs. Democrats are holding the line and advocating for critical care — because families depend on it.
Eid Mubarak to all celebrating today and this week. May your Eid be filled with peace, joy, and blessings. 🌙✨
Due to the persistence of my legal team and me, I was able to attend yesterday’s Kennedy Center meeting and voice my opposition to the closure. But this fight is far from over. 🔗 Watch the full interview with Jake Tapper at the link here: https://bit.ly/3NIVk3q
Last week, I was honored by the Ohio Chamber of Commerce with the Visionary Leader Award at their annual Women in Business Summit. Thank you to Steve Stivers, President and CEO of the Ohio Chamber of Commerce, and the entire Chamber team for presenting me with this distinguished award.
Today, we join in celebrating Irish heritage and the values of community and friendship. We also recognize the important role Irish Americans have played in shaping our nation. Wishing you all a joyful Saint Patrick's Day! ☘️
My condolences are with the families of the six Air Force members who were killed in the refueling crash: Maj. John A. Klinner, Capt. Ariana G. Savino, Tech. Sgt. Ashley B. Pruitt, Capt. Seth R. Koval, Capt. Curtis J. Angst, and Tech. Sgt. Tyler H. Simmons. We are deeply grateful for their service.
Statement regarding today’s federal court ruling ordering the Trump administration to allow my participation in Monday’s Kennedy Center board meeting and provide access to materials related to the Kennedy Center demolition.
