I joined @jimacosta.bsky.social on his show yesterday to discuss my trip to Northern Mexico, where I met with an 11-year-old U.S. citizen with a brain tumor and her family. They were deported with no due process.
I am sending my prayers and condolences to the families of the Mexican cadets who died in yesterday’s tragic accident. My thoughts are also with those who were injured—I wish them a speedy recovery.

Many of the major changes Elon Musk’s U.S. DOGE Service pushed at Social Security have been abandoned or are being reversed after proving ineffective, while others are yielding unintended consequences and badly damaging customer service and satisfaction.
This is sick. Under the Trump Administration we lose more of our humanity every day.

Three hours of air-traffic control with no break—then suddenly a few seconds to stop a midair collision. He won't stay quiet anymore.
“I don’t want to be responsible for killing 400 people,” he said in an exclusive interview.

We’ll keep fighting for all the hardworking folks—including the disabled and seniors who need long term nursing home care—who rely on Medicaid.
Yesterday, all 30 Republicans on a key House Committee voted to kick over 10 million Americans off of Medicaid so that they can pay for tax cuts for the rich. Every single Democratic member on that Committee voted against this.

The Constitution is clear: people born in the United States are American citizens. Birthright citizenship is an undeniable right.
If Republicans want to change that, then they must amend the Constitution.
Under the Trump Administration, intelligence is being politicized and bent to the will of President Trump. That is dangerous because it intimidates intelligence analysts, undercuts the integrity of their work, and undermines our national security.

If the Administration goes through with this, it means they could throw anyone, including U.S. citizens, in jail with no warrant and no due process. This should alarm every single American because it impacts all of us.
Stephen Miller has threatened to undo habeas corpus—a fundamental legal principle that safeguards against unlawful detention.

Sasha was born with cerebral palsy and experiences grand mal seizures. She’s also a stroke survivor. Medicaid helps her access treatments and services that help her live her life — as a college student and Special Olympics athlete.
Cuts to Medicaid would hurt people like Sasha.

While Fox “News” mentioned Hunter Biden over 13,000 times in 16 months, they’ve been awfully quiet when it comes to Trump’s luxury plane gifted by Qatar.
Despite the cover they’re trying to give this corruption, they’re struggling with the spin.

Americans often wonder what the Founders were thinking when writing our Constitution.
We don’t have to guess here. Our Founders did not want kings to bribe our government officials, especially the President.

Great to see some familiar faces on Capitol Hill yesterday during National Small Business Week, where we celebrated the Latino entrepreneurs who drive the economy forward.
Thank you to Aquí and the Latino Community Foundation for advocating for our community.
The rights of U.S. citizens are being taken away, and the American people need to wake up to what is going on and speak out against it.
An update from me from Northern Mexico—today, I visited a family who was deported, without due process, from the U.S. with their U.S. citizen children—including their 11-year-old daughter who is suffering from a brain tumor.
