These people couldn’t be more out of touch.
While working Americans are watching their costs go up, the Trump family is bragging about their crypto deals.
Sick stuff.
“Folks in [working class] districts are not going to go to the ballot box and say: ‘Wow, the Democrats are just totally crushing it right now.’ You win by having great candidates with local messages.”

Trump & Republicans can find $2 billion to rename the Department of Defense.
But they can’t find the money to make your health care more affordable.
Give me a break.
“There is a perception that Democrats talk down to certain folks in this country...that Democrats are weak and scared of their own shadow... We've lost vast swaths of rural America and working-class America, largely because of the way we’ve communicated with folks."

I go where the fight is. From my days as an Army Ranger to my service in Congress. Now, the fight is to defend Colorado and stand up to Donald Trump.

Trump’s classified “legal analysis” for his strikes in the Caribbean is chilling. He wants to use the military at any time, for any reason, without congressional approval.
After 25 years of war, Americans deserve a public debate on the use of our military. Trump is stifling it.
My statement on the government funding bill:
I’m a hard no on this sham of a funding bill.
I will not stand by as Trump & Congressional Republicans let Americans’ health care costs double or even triple.
You can count on me to keep fighting for affordable health care in America.
Proud to stand by my friend Mikie Sherrill as she delivered her farewell speech on the House floor.
The fight for our democracy continues at the capitol and around the country! Onward!
It’s about damn time.
Now let’s vote to release the Epstein files because the American people are long overdue for answers.
Donald Trump’s been fighting like hell to prevent the release of the Epstein files.
It’s no surprise why.
Stop the cover-up. Release all the files. Give the American people the truth they deserve.
To America’s veterans–thank you for your heroic service.
I was honored to recognize dozens of Colorado Vietnam veterans at a military pinning ceremony in Centennial.
We owe you a debt of gratitude for your service and sacrifice to our nation.
7/ Our veterans shouldn’t have to wait any longer.
It’s time for us to address these issues head-on.
We must fight for those who fought for our country.
Looking forward to my colleagues joining me to make a difference in the lives of our veterans.
6/ Finally – When I returned home from war, I made it my mission to fight for every veteran.
I’m introducing a bill to lower recidivism for veterans involved in the criminal justice system so they may fully enjoy the benefits of the country they fought for.

5/ Too many veterans struggle with ALS.
We must get to the bottom of the underlying cause & my new bill would allow for advancements in our understanding of ALS while also working to provide world-class care to veterans who are struggling with the condition.

4/ Too many vets & military families have been excluded from the Post-9/11 Educational Assistance Program because they’re medically retired.
My bill would right this wrong and ensure post-9/11 vets and their families have full access to the program.

3/ One of the most important things we can do is expand mental health services for our veterans, who struggle disproportionately with depression, PTSD & more.
I’m introducing a bill to strengthen the VA’s mental health workforce & give vets the resources to thrive.

2/ I went to war three times for this country. The issue of veteran suicide is personal for me.
One veteran suicide is too many. I’m introducing a bipartisan bill that will help identify prevention efforts so we can save lives & address this issue head-on.

1/ Our veterans are facing problems from educational access to mental health care & more.
We have to act, because our vets simply can’t wait any longer for the help they need.
I’m introducing 5 bills to help our vets with the challenges they face.
In a time when our nation is so divided, today let's come together to honor those who served our nation and fought for our right to speak freely and disagree, in pursuit of that more perfect union.
