This reckless change in the vaccine schedule by RFK Jr. and his hand-picked team of anti-vaxxers is a direct attack on the health of every American. It abandons decades of rigorous evidence and concern for the health and wellbeing of American families.
In 2026, I remain committed to defending our democracy and standing up for Denverites’ shared values.
That means protecting the vulnerable, resisting RFK Jr.'s relentless attacks against science, and defending reproductive freedom.
That’s what I’m fighting for this year.
Speaker Johnson must immediately reconvene Congress to address this unconstitutional and destabilizing abuse of power.
Even if Donald Trump believes that Venezuela is a threat to the United States, he has the Constitutional obligation to present his case to Congress and obtain war powers authority before pursuing a strike like the one carried out last night in Venezuela.
Congress holds the sole power to declare war and authorize military force.
Due to our concerns in Congress over this type of rogue activity from the administration, there were bipartisan war powers resolutions on the House floor that would have protected Congress’ Constitutional authority. Unfortunately, Republicans abdicated their responsibility and voted them down.
After repeated assurances from this administration that it was not pursuing regime change, today’s military action calls into question the credibility of those who made those claims.
While Nicolas Maduro is certainly an illegitimate leader, the United States does not have the authority to unilaterally invade another country, capture its leader and his wife, and haul them to the United States.
Praying for the injured firefighter and their family, and I’m also thankful for the swift community response from nonprofit agencies for impacted residents.
Grateful for the brave firefighters in Denver and the surrounding area who battled a five-alarm fire last night at Leetsdale Drive and Forest Street.

Happy New Year! Through this year’s ups and downs, I'm always grateful to represent our Denver community in Congress. In 2026, here’s to continuing to care for each other and making progress on our shared values.
New Year's Eve is a time to celebrate the upcoming year responsibly. If you’re going out, plan your safe ride home.
RTD is offering zero fare tonight, and CDOT and the Colorado State Patrol have rideshare discounts available if you are out late.

He's not just incompetent—he's destroying the institutions that protect us & degrading America’s global standing.
This year, I demanded answers from him 16 times. Next year, I will keep doing so until he answers for his dangerous anti-science agenda.
In one year under RFK Jr.’s failed leadership, America is less safe.
Preventable disease outbreaks. Gutted research programs. Mass firings of public health experts & staff.

Saddened to learn of the passing of former CO Sen. Ben Nighthorse Campbell.
Sen. Nighthorse Campbell was a strong advocate for Colorado and served as one of the few Native Americans in the history of our Congress. He was truly one of a kind, and I am thinking of his family in the wake of his loss.
My heart goes out to her mother, Caroline, a devoted public servant; her husband, George, and their two children; and the entire Kennedy-Schlossberg family.
I am heartbroken to learn of Tatiana Schlossberg’s passing this morning.
We lost someone who cared deeply about this planet and who used her voice to try to make the world safer for the people she loved.
While major reforms like Medicare for All are unlikely under Republican-controlled Washington, extending these ACA credits is a straight-forward solution to stop premiums from doubling.
ICYMI: I wrote an op-ed in the Denver Post about why extending the ACA tax credits is essential to lowering health care costs.
