The killing of Renee Good should not have happened and we must make sure nothing like it happens again. I joined over 150 of my colleagues in demanding answers and accountability for ICE, something our Republican colleagues refuse to do.
I led a letter with 159 Members of Congress to Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem demanding accountability for ICE's indefensible actions resulting in the killing of a woman in South Minneapolis. Minnesotans deserve answers. That must include an unbiased, thorough investigation.
An independent Fed protects our economy from reckless partisan interference and keeps stability the main mission. We should all be praising Jerome Powell for doing what's right and refusing to bow to political pressure by Trump and his rogue Administration. Everyone needs to watch this video.
Saddened to hear of the passing of Governor Codey. In his 50 years of service as an Assemblyman, Senator, and Governor, he was committed to his community and our great state. My thoughts are with Gov. Codey’s family, friends and all those who were positively impacted by his years of service.
Proud to stand with my @hispaniccaucus.bsky.social colleagues to demand answers from this Administration. As Vice Chair of Policy, my commitment to accountability and our Venezuelan communities remains unwavering.
Today, @menendez.house.gov and I met with members of NJ’s Venezuelan community and asked them what they think about this administration’s actions.   We owe them answers about Trump’s true motives and plans for their home country.
I joined @repkimschrier.bsky.social and over 100 of our colleagues to demand the CDC restore the childhood immunization schedule. We will not allow this Administration to lead with fear or put our children at risk.
Your electric bills are rising... and AI data centers are a major reason why. While AI innovation is promising, we must ensure it's not happening at the expense of our communities.

.@PabloReports: What do you make of Republican efforts to increase ICE funding? Menendez: There should be no more money for ICE. There needs to be accountability for ICE. We need to do that before another fucking dollar is spent on them.
This moment calls on us to reject fear and to once again remember that the arc of the moral universe is long but it bends towards justice - and we are the ones who must be the force to ensure that it in fact bends towards justice.
