At my request, the University of Michigan is hosting a public community open house to share updates and get feedback on the proposed computing and AI center. This is an important opportunity to hear directly from the university and project leaders and to make your voice heard.
Joined @jayapal.house.gov to speak to our @demwomencaucus.bsky.social colleagues about the importance of Medicare for All.
Healthcare is a right, not a privilege. You should be able to go to the doctor when you need to go to the doctor and get the medicine you need when you need it.
The Trump Administration has restored Biden-era funding levels for the Continuum of Care housing program in accordance with a recent court order and ongoing lawsuits. This is good news for the local organizations that depend on these grants to care for homeless individuals in their communities.
For decades crash-test standards overlooked half the population. Now, the U.S. is beginning to address the real and distinct risks women face on the road. I’m proud to have fought for accurate female representation in vehicle safety testing.

Democrats and 17 Republicans just voted in the House to restore Affordable Care Act Tax Credits and lower rising health care premiums.
The Senate must follow our lead and vote now to lower premiums for millions of Americans.
It’s always important to hear from you - your wants, needs, and thoughts. Don’t hesitate to reach out.

Serving you in Congress is an honor, and making a difference for Michigan residents is always my first priority. As we begin the new year, I want to reflect on the work we did in 2025.
An unarmed citizen was killed today by a masked ICE officer, and the Administration is attempting to convince us not to believe what we can see with our own eyes. There must be accountability and justice. I am thinking of the victim, her family, and the Minneapolis community.
The American people do not want another regime change war.
The Trump administration’s illegal military action in Venezuela sets a dangerous precedent for national sovereignty. We must recognize that Maduro’s authoritarian government was illegitimate and oppressive, and that the president cannot unilaterally depose a foreign leader.
The 2025 Dingell Jingle to the tune of "The Christmas Song."

Parkridge is a community that means a lot to me and I have many friends that are family. Watching the happiness in kids faces as they anticipate Christmas warms my heart. I am grateful they include me in the holiday party.
Joined Food Gatherers rocking for the hungry as I do each year. This morning we announced they have raised 1.2 million meals of their 1.5M goal. Their commitment to making sure every family has enough to eat - especially in the winter and over the holidays - makes a real difference in our community.
Today we recognize Rosa Parks’ profound influence in the pursuit of civil rights for Black Americans. I was blessed to work with her for many years when she moved to Detroit. Her courage inspires me yet today to know what we need to be protecting and the respect she showed every human being.
Met with the Michigan Marching band before the game tomorrow. I told them that we could take a lesson from them on what working together produces… magic.
The shooting of two National Guard members in D.C. is horrific. I’m devastated for their families and praying for strength for them, especially as they were likely preparing to celebrate what should be a joyful holiday.
