It's been one year of Trump's "Liberation Day" tariffs.
In just the last year, Kentucky families had to pay hundreds more just to get by, the bourbon industry took a huge hit, and our businesses are caught in a cycle of chaos with no way to plan.
This is not America first.
Trump tells us we don't have money for health care, education, housing, and food assistance — then asks for $1.5 trillion to pay for the war he started.
These are your taxpayer dollars — they should serve you, not another foreign war nobody asked for. bit.ly/4c6BjMA
One of my favorite parts of this job is bringing home federal funding.
JCTC does incredible work to prep our future teachers, medical professionals, entrepreneurs, and public servants — I'm proud to have secured $850,000 to help upgrade their campus! bit.ly/4c8euYJ

Today's SCOTUS ruling does not change the fact that conversion therapy is dangerous and widely disproven.
No one should have to suffer this kind of torture – we will not stop fighting to protect kids from this cruel and fraudulent practice. bit.ly/4sc7Cj3

Since he took office, Trump has repeatedly undermined our city's efforts to deliver justice for Breonna Taylor and her loved ones.
They claim this decision is "in the interest of justice" — it's the opposite. bit.ly/4v28Yzm
Louisville is home to so many men and women who served our country during the Vietnam War.
This weekend, we paid tribute to their service with a pinning ceremony. We are eternally grateful for the tremendous impact these men and women have made on this country.
On Vietnam War Veterans Day, we take a moment to honor the service of those who served our country during the Vietnam War, many of whom did not receive the recognition they earned when they returned home.
Today, and every day, we are grateful for all they sacrificed.
The Senate has made it clear Speaker Johnson’s bill is dead on arrival — he is wasting everyone's time, fixing nothing, and it’s our dedicated public servants and the American people who will pay the price. (2/2)
We've been clear from the start: fund TSA, don't fund ICE.
We could have ended this tonight but the House Republicans refused. (1/2)
An abhorrent miscarriage of justice.
We've spent six years working towards justice for Breonna Taylor, and Trump's DOJ has spent the past year undermining that work at every opportunity.
Breonna and her family deserve so much more. bit.ly/4uVPcWd

Hegseth and Trump will do anything to protect their own fragile egos and undermine the power of women and people of color — that's not leadership. www.nytimes.com/2026/03/27/u...
Republicans in Congress added $4.7 trillion to the deficit and now they want $200 billion for the war Trump started with Iran.
They want to fix the economy and go after the deficit? That's not how you do it.
In 2017, Trump demanded massive tax cuts for the ultra-wealthy. He made them permanent in 2025.
The Republican majority claimed they would pay for themselves.
They didn't, and they never will.
Equal Pay Day marks how far into 2026 the average woman must work to earn what men were paid in 2025 — for women of color, it's even later.
This is the 2nd year we've seen the wage gap widen.
We must pass the Paycheck Fairness Act. Everyone deserves equal pay for equal work.
