This week, I signed on to two bills which would support Ukrainian efforts to return abducted children to their families and increase the economic pressure on Russia to end the war and withdraw from Ukraine.
We can't lose sight of the human cost — the tens of thousands of Ukrainians killed, the countless women and children who escaped to safety, and the estimated 35,000 children abducted and brought to Russia as prisoners of war.
The United States can and must continue to stand with Ukraine and seek to hold Russia and Putin accountable for their illegal aggression.
