Good riddance to Pam Bondi, who weaponized the DOJ against Trump’s political enemies and continuously ignored the law to protect the Epstein class from accountability with her botched release of the files. You won’t be missed!
Of course, the real problem is not Pam but Donald.

[2/2] I am pleased that my repeated outcries about this have led to a record number of 31 controller trainees assigned to Austin. We just need more progress to avoid a catastrophe here.
[1/2] Understaffed air traffic control towers are a public safety issue in many parts of the country, but especially here in Austin. After years of sounding the alarms about Austin’s lack of air traffic controllers, we still have only half the number of certified workers that the FAA says we need.
One year ago, Trump promised his "Liberation Day" tariffs — paid by other countries, not American consumers or small businesses — would "lower prices for consumers."
Instead, his tariff taxes have already cost the average American family more than $1,700 each.

[2/2] While this latest decree will be challenged in court, it is yet another reminder that we need more of our neighbors to get involved now to overcome the barriers Trump will continue raising.
The future of our democracy is at stake.
[1/2] Trump’s shenanigans to undermine our upcoming elections continue. Though defending his personal use of mail in voting, he just signed a new order limiting access to a mail ballot. His goal is to prevent as many as possible from voting.
Joined a podcast for my friend @pocan.house.gov, a great progressive, who represents Madison, Wisconsin.
We discuss health care, tax inequities, the reckless Trump war in Iran, and a number of other issues.
Hard to say what was the biggest whopper in Trump’s desperate address attempting to justify his reckless war in Iran. But I think the winner is his declaration that under his great leadership “no inflation” in America. When you shop this week, you can be the judge of his claims.
Chag Sameach! As Jewish families come together tonight for Passover, I wish all the best and a joyous time to those who will be celebrating in these troubling times.
[2/2] Tonight at 8 CST we can expect Trump to falsely tout that the war is “won” and that any aftermath is the responsibility of others, without any explanation of these contradictions.
[1/2] Trump has contradicted himself on the Iran war so many times it's hard to keep count. As CNN reports, from claims about a regime change to America’s involvement in opening the Strait of Hormuz, Trump’s back and forth is putting American troops and security at risk.
Millions turned out to protest Trump’s authoritarian regime and remind him that he is no king and we are not his subjects. Unrestrained by a Republican Congress, he has dragged us into another endless war in the Middle East with no real plan, raising gas prices and endangering American lives.
This GOP-nominated federal judge is correct that “no statute comes close to giving the President the authority he claims to have,” for his ballroom, but then no statute gives Trump authority for most of his wrongdoing. It occurs because a compliant GOP Congress lets him get away with most anything.
[2/2] Who knows how much longer the death and destruction will continue, but with his latest contradictory statements tonight, Trump increasingly appears to be looking for a way out by declaring victory after failing to achieve any of his original objectives.
[1/2] Now that we are in week 5 of what Trump told us would be a 4–5 week war, he claims that it will only take another 2–3 weeks. Of course, Iran also has a vote on when this war ends.
Instead, he used our dedicated public servants as political pawns to protect ICE from accountability for the harm they’ve caused.
I am pleased that our TSA officers are finally getting paid but let’s be clear: they should have never been put in this position.
If Trump had the power to pay them all along, why not act promptly to prevent the hardships that they endured and the chaos at so many airports?
I led Texas Democrats in demanding DHS abandon Big Bend’s border wall. The rugged terrain already deters crossings; a wall would only choke wildlife and trigger flash floods. We cannot let taxpayer dollars destroy one of America’s crown jewels for a barrier that isn't needed.
[2/2] These economists forecast a major increase in the inflation rate from 2.4% to 4% raising costs across the board.
This Trumpflation means that Americans will pay the price for his war of choice at the pump and at the grocery store.
[1/2] After repeatedly promising to bring prices down, Trump has done just the opposite. First his tariff taxes, now his reckless war with Iran and the rising price of gas.
A new report by The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) estimates that even more pain lies ahead.
