Noticing a semantic drift in “hostile environment” which serves to help no-one. It wasn’t “the vibe is anti-immigration” or “it’s hard to get a visa”, it was “the state will deputise the act of immigration enforcement to every layer of civil society”

Pushing this analogy - because I don’t know the answer! - if you do a leveraged buyout then leave the company to go bust if it can’t cover the interest, does that kill your ability to ever do the same again, like getting a BTL repossessed does?
right, this is what i was trying to get my head around. feels different to, eg, MS buying CoD, where the dynamics of the entire industry get warped around one specific multiplayer shooter being cross-subsidised by subscription sales. This is more… well, bad if you like battlefield.

sure, you can tax it in lots of ways, but it's not a tariff. It's not charged at import based on the value of the quantity imported
I think I use it to refer to games which are deliberately mechanically light to allow for more conversation. I remember the first time my gaming group did sea of thieves and we were all baffled that there was so little… game? But it makes sense
