Also, all of you false flag/it's AI/it's a hoax/it's staged people: There has never been a better time to unfollow me.
No, Vance and the people next to him react quite quickly.
What's notable to me is that there are loud repeated gunshots, a roomful of people gets up in fear and alarm and starts to run out, and Trump....does not notice. It's not that he's staying calm; it's that he's missing it. I don't think I'm reading it wrong.
In fairness...
The memory-holing is complete. And the whole world has to answer right now, just to tell you once again who's bad. deadline.com/2026/04/box-...
Quite obviously a word. It's what everyone talks out of here!
Dr. Robby finally about to beat the living hell out of Langdon on The Pitt. (Or possibly it's just Noah Wyle congratulating Patrick Ball backstage at Becky Shaw. Which is, I reiterate, SO GOOD.)
"I'm suing that reporter for $250 million!" is the new "Please don't fire me, sir, I want to keep flying in the big plane and hanging out with the big boys!" www.independent.co.uk/news/world/a...
And while I'm ranting about Top Chef: If you're a contestant and an illness or injury makes it impossible for you to participate in a challenge, you deserve kindness and empathy. Also, you've gotta go home. Not later. Right then.
Also, it feels increasingly evident that Colicchio has much more fun on Last Chance Kitchen than on Top Chef. Maybe it's connected to the weight loss, but he looks and acts like a guy who'd rather take considered bites of two dishes than of 20. (Understandable! But he doesn't seem to be having fun.)
Niche food TV post: I think America's Culinary Cup is too gimmicky and definitely has some issues to iron out, but I'm watching it in tandem with the current season of Top Chef, and honestly, it's better: More bite, more energy, and a fresher exploration of the many different ways of being a chef.
Wow, something for both the Jewish and non-Jewish sides of me to be offended by--thanks for bringing me together, I guess!
It feels like something dire is not being said in this piece. Does anyone know what? www.nytimes.com/2026/04/23/n...
To be clear: These people want us dead. Erasing us from history makes erasing us from the present easier, because if we don't have a past or a heritage, how real can we possibly be?
(I really love The Irishman, though. Every one of its ten million minutes.)
One of the greatest of all production designers. Picture the streets of old Little Italy, Fredo and Michael in Cuba, the Tahoe lake house in Godfather Part II. Not to mention a dozen other Coppola films, and, of course, Bonnie and Clyde. RIP Dean Tavoularis. www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie...
