The Israeli government must immediately release the 84 Palestinian health care workers illegally held in Israeli jails — including Dr. Abu Safiya, a Palestinian pediatrician reportedly near death after months of torture and starvation. This inhumane treatment must stop.

The American people did not vote for the war in Iran. Congress did not authorize the war in Iran. The only way for President Trump to end the mess he created in the Middle East is for him to return to the ceasefire and negotiate a long-term regional peace agreement.
Minnesota's election system is a national model. It's safe, secure, and fair, as demonstrated by our nation-leading voter turnout. President Trump's attacks over our refusal to surrender voter data puts our democracy at risk.
My thoughts are with the family and friends of Lorenzo Salgado Araujo following the fatal shooting earlier this week. DHS and ICE cannot be trusted to investigate themselves. There must be a comprehensive, transparent, and independent investigation into what happened.
In Minnesota, we protect our children, educate them, and give them opportunities to succeed. President Trump doesn't share our values. Instead, he chose to bully Somali schoolgirls for wearing hijabs at their kindergarten graduation. His actions are weak and pathetic.
Five years ago the federal government promised to return stolen federal land to the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe. More illegally transferred land has since been discovered. S. 622 finishes the job. The House should pass it now.
Ten years ago today, Philando Castile was shot and killed by a police officer during a traffic stop. A decade later, we remember Philando not just for how he died, but for how he lived and the countless students he served every day.
Wishing all Minnesotans a wonderful and festive celebration with family, friends, and loved ones celebrating #America250 today. Use precautions around fireworks, stay safe on the lake, and have a fun holiday weekend!
This morning, I had the pleasure of joining the Saint Anthony Park community at one of Minnesota’s longest‑running Fourth of July parades as we celebrated the 250th anniversary of our nation’s founding.   Happy Independence Day to all! #America250 🇺🇸
For 250 years, the American experiment has endured because people continue to unite to advance our nation's promise of freedom, justice, and opportunity for all. As we celebrate this milestone today, it’s a reminder that each of us plays a part in shaping the American story.🇺🇸
House Republicans passed their disastrous budget bill a year ago today, stripping health care and nutrition assistance from millions of Americans to give tax breaks to millionaires and billionaires. They called it the Big Beautiful Bill — but in fact, it's become a big, ugly law.
