Constituent Services Fair: 1/16
My team and I are hosting a constituent services fair on Friday, January 16, 10am-2pm, at RAICES Older Adult Center in Corona. Stop by to ask questions and get assistance with agencies like the VA, Social Security, Medicare/Medicaid, IRS, & more.

LSC provides vulnerable Americans—like seniors, survivors of domestic abuse, & families recovering from natural disasters—legal aid. More than 8,000 of my own constituents rely on these basic services. These services are invaluable investments in our communities, & I am proud to have protected them.
Proud to have secured $540 million for the Legal Services Corporation in the Commerce, Justice, and Science appropriations bill—this Administration wanted to eliminate it completely.
One of my four-legged constituents went missing right before the holidays, please keep an eye out for this furry friend!
Nurses dedicate more time to patient care than anyone else in our hospitals. They deserve more than scraps while hospital CEOs make millions!
I'll continue standing with the New York State Nurses Association until they get the contract they deserve.

The courage of the Iranian people in the face of brutal and deadly crackdowns will inspire generations to come. I will continue to stand with them as they bravely advocate for their fundamental rights and a freer future.
That's why I am introducing a bill that would hold DHS law enforcement to the same standards that other local and federal law enforcement agents already follow when interacting with citizens and would return the rule of law to our communities. (3/3)
DHS agents should not get to act first and ask questions later. They are not above the law or the United States Constitution. (2/3)
What's happening in Minneapolis is only the latest example of the terror & lawlessness that this DHS has brought to our communities. Agents, dressed for war, have violated the rights of innocent people, including American citizens, who have been "kicked, dragged & detained for days"—& killed. (1/3)
As a wife & mom of a Korean family, I'm proud to celebrate Korean American Day! Today and every day, let's honor all the incredible contributions Korean immigrants and Korean Americans continue to make in Queens and communities across the nation.
Nurses are the heart of care in Queens and across New York City. I'm proud to stand with the New York State Nurses Association as they fight for a fair contract✊
I joined 70+ colleagues urging Secretary Kennedy to immediately restore this funding, and I’m glad to see @newyorkstateag.bsky.social standing up for communities like Queens. (2/2)
Children and families are once again caught up in the Administration’s political games. This funding freeze has nothing to do with fraud in New York State. It’s punishing the families and small businesses who rely on childcare the most. (1/2)
It was an honor to recognize Cpt. James Chin of the New York National Guard’s 88th Company over the holidays.
Thank you to Captain Chin and all our Guardsmen for your service and sacrifice.
I hear from constituents like Christine all the time — utility bills are too damn high!
Democrats have a plan to lower energy bills and hold utility companies accountable for rate hikes. It's time for Republicans to work with us. Enough is enough.
It’s inspiring to see how our local schools are giving young students the strong foundation they need to thrive for years to come. A special thank you to Chancellor Samuels for inviting me to this important event. (2/2)
Early childhood education lays the groundwork for lifelong success. I visited Mosaic Pre-K Center in Corona where I met with education leaders to discuss how the school’s hands-on learning environment is helping young students build that foundation right here in our community. (1/2)
Her resilience, leadership, and commitment to keeping our communities safe continues to inspire us. I won't stop fighting alongside Gabby Giffords until we end this epidemic once and for all.
15 years ago this week, Rep. Gabby Giffords was shot while visiting a supermarket in Arizona. She has been fighting every day since to end the gun violence epidemic our nation is experiencing.
