Thank you @pressley.house.gov for your leadership alongside 217 House colleagues, including Rep. Mike Lawler, Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, Rep. Maria Salazar, and Rep. Don Bacon, on successfully forcing a floor vote to extend #TPS for 350,000 Haitian neighbors seeking safety in the U.S.! 🎉
BREAKING: After weeks of organizing, we have reached the majority necessary to force a vote to extend Haiti TPS. Thank you to our coalition and everyone fighting for this critical lifeline for the 350,000 Haitian nationals. Our neighbors are so deserving.
This is great news! After the Trump admin ripped away Temporary Protected Status for 300,000+ workers from Haiti, @pressley.house.gov’s discharge petition will force a vote to extend TPS for Haiti! Thank you Rep. Pressley for standing with working families ✊

This is a huge win thanks to an incredible fighter: @pressley.house.gov. Protecting our Haitian neighbors is a righteous fight. Haiti remains unsafe, and we must protect people from being sent into a war zone. migrantinsider.com/p/scoop-ayan...
I signed onto @pressley.house.gov's discharge petition to force a vote on redesignating TPS for Haiti because Donald Trump and Stephen Miller's attacks on Haitian immigrants are purely driven by xenophobia and bigotry, not security concerns. I look forward to voting yes.
ICYMI: My discharge petition to extend Haiti TPS has enough support to force a vote in the House. This is a huge win and brings us closer than ever to saving Haitian lives and delivering the protections they deserve. Let’s get it done!

To survivors everywhere: I believe you. The shame was never yours to carry. Anyone who violates another person in this way is small and broken. They should be named, shamed, & held accountable for survivors everywhere.
When we affirm the brilliance, the beauty, and the voices of young girls, we are investing in a stronger and more just future for all of us. TY to the Boston Celtics Community and Shamrock Dreams for creating this beautiful space to uplift and empower young women and girls.

With an Administration attacking women every day, the state of women in America can feel grim. But the women who came before us wrote the blueprint for our survival—from trailblazing activists to the women who surround us. Read my @baystatebanner.bsky.social Women's History Month op-ed:
A Bay State Banner Women's History Month op-ed written by Rep. Ayanna Pressley titled: A love letter to the women who make us whole.
I'm grateful for immigration orgs like MIRA Coalition who are at the forefront of this fight against fascism. We won't stop agitating, litigating, & mobilizing against an agency that has gone rogue. TY for having me as your 2026 Spring into Action Conference keynote speaker.

My heart goes out to Mr. Damas’s family and friends and our Haitian and Dorchester communities. Everyone impacted deserves healing and accountability, and I won’t stop pushing for answers. It is what Emmanuel deserves.
It is with a heavy heart that we collectively honor the life of Emmanuel Damas today. To lose a father, son, brother, friend is a grief no person should have to bear, and certainly not under such horrific circumstances.

Instead of paying our dedicated TSA workers, Republicans would rather spend more money on ICE's campaign of terror & cruelty. I voted No. We must keep fighting to abolish ICE, end qualified immunity, and transform our immigration system to center the dignity & humanity of all.
Senate Republicans blocked a proposal that would've restored veterans' reproductive rights, including the right to an abortion in cases of rape or incest. Cruel & shameful. Our veterans should be met with respect & support—and that includes their right to vital reproductive care.
We lost our #MA7 neighbor Emmanuel Damas after he was denied medical care by ICE. He had a toothache, fell into a coma, & died of sepsis. His tragic death was wholly preventable. My heart goes out to his family, and I'll keep pushing for the accountability & healing they deserve.
