As Vice RM of @houseforeign.bsky.social, I’ve made Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Foods a top priority.
Produced by @edesianutrition.bsky.social for starving kids abroad, it’s an example of America at its best.
I’ll continue to lead bipartisan efforts to spare this vital work from Trump’s cuts to USAID.
On this 100th day, all we’ve seen from Trump is chaos — higher costs for everyday Americans and lasting damage to our federal institutions.
Right now, Americans deserve committed action to address families’ economic challenges — not an agenda to enrich billionaires.
Thank you to AARPRI for an important discussion on federal action to best support older RIers.
While Trump, Elon, and Congressional Republicans continue to pursue severe cuts to Medicaid and reduce access to Social Security, I’ll continue to fight for the benefits that older RIers have earned.

Our budget should reflect our values as Americans.
The choice is clear. We can’t leave our neighbors behind without health care and food assistance.
We’ll keep pushing for FOUR Republicans to show courage and stand up for all of our vulnerable constituents.
We will keep fighting together to protect the will of the people.
As Congress comes back into session this week, we have to stand by our values and the communities we serve through protecting nutrition assistance and health care.
Thank you to @booker.senate.gov and @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social for leading a sit-in at the Capitol today.
Today @booker.senate.gov and @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social are holding a sit in on the steps of the Capitol building to discuss our current moral moment in America.
I’m joining them in solidarity with the Rhode Islanders at risk from these dangerous Republican budget cuts.
Rain couldn’t stop the strong spirit of the Tiverton Little League!🌧️
Thrilled to join the Tiverton community and Rep. Jay Edwards & Sen. Wally Felag to throw out the first pitch on their 72nd Opening Day.
Here’s to a great season—play ball!⚾️
An attack on academic journals is an attack on our country’s ability to keep our citizens safe.
This is just another example of how Trump chooses his own biases over American science.
For the 200th recording of the Rhode Island Report, @reed.senate.gov and I joined @fitzprov.bsky.social & Jim Hummel to discuss the impact of the Trump administration’s chaos & our response.
Grateful for the work of journalism & public media to shine a light in this moment.
That's why I'm sounding the alarm in Congress about the Trump admin’s chaos that's raising the cost of living for consumers and the cost of doing business for entrepreneurs.
To kick off #SmallBusinessWeek, I celebrated the Rhode Island 2025 SBA Small Business Award Winners!
We must ensure our small businesses have the support they need to thrive.
How many more chances will Hegseth get? Resign.

On this Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day, I was honored to join the community in Pawtucket to both reflect on the loss of life starting 110 years ago and recognize the resilience of the local Armenians that rose in the aftermath of tragedy.
I joined a bipartisan group of 100+ members of Congress calling on AG Pam Bondi to urgently restore this funding so we can continue to support women who rely on the safety and support that these resources provide.

Trump just HALTED all funding to the Office on Violence Against Women — a DOJ department which offers critical support to survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
Together with @reed.senate.gov, @whitehouse.senate.gov, and @magaziner.house.gov, I’m working to protect our community from these devastating cuts.
100 days since Trump took office, all we’ve seen is chaos and confusion.
Worse still, his Republican allies are trying to pass the largest cut to Medicaid ever — threatening the health care for working class families, expecting and new mothers, nursing home residents, and RIers with disabilities.
