I completely agree with President Zelenskyy: Nothing about Ukraine, without Ukraine.
Ukraine is not the aggressor. Russian troops illegally invaded Ukraine and killed thousands of Ukrainians. Any negotiations to end the war must include the Ukrainian government. www.bbc.com/news/article...
President Trump promised to lower costs on "Day One." Instead, we’re paying much more for groceries, gas, and rent because of his illegal and chaotic actions.
Tina Smith is a dear friend and an incredible partner in improving the lives of Minnesotans. I'm truly grateful for her work on behalf of our communities. Minnesota is better thanks to her public service, and I look forward to working with her during the next two years.

The Trump-Vance Administration hasn’t lifted a finger to lower costs for working families.

House Republicans' budget would reward their billionaire donors with a $4 trillion tax break at the expense of working families. www.newsweek.com/republicans-...
Elon Musk is not making our government efficient; He’s an unelected billionaire with multiple government contracts and business ties to China — blatant conflicts of interest. Now he’s retaliating against regulators by illegally sabotaging them and attempting to close agencies.
There's a reason why Trump wants to shut down the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau: It helps working people fight back against irresponsible and risky financial practices.
Who's helped by a shuttered CFPB? Crypto billionaires, the big banks, and scammers.
My office has received thousands of phone calls from Minnesotans concerned about what is happening here in Washington, D.C.
I hear you — and I'm working with my Democratic colleagues to hold the Trump Administration accountable.
National security starts with people.
Today, I joined three U.S. Senators in urging the Secretary of Defense to course-correct on the White House’s reckless Deferred Resignation letter which severely weakens our national security posture.
President Trump and Secretary Rubio are breaking the law. Their illegal and unconstitutional scheme to unilaterally shut down USAID and cancel all foreign aid weakens our national security. They must reverse the foreign aid freeze and reinstate all employees illegally placed on leave.
President Trump today upended decades of bipartisan work to reach a two-state solution that would have Israelis and Palestinians living side-by-side in peace in their homelands. I’m also concerned that the words spoken today at the White House could put the ceasefire in jeopardy.
Candidate Trump promised to "immediately bring prices down, starting on Day One." Instead, his tariffs would tax families — higher prices on eggs, pork, cars, and more. My fellow Democrats and I are urging President Trump to permanently rescind his tariffs on Canadian goods.
I agree with @jstreetdotorg.bsky.social. Elon Musk’s illegal power grab of USAID disrupts US alliances around the globe and threatens to upend the ceasefire in the Middle East. jstreet.org/press-releas...
Trump’s 25% tariff on Canadian goods is set to begin at midnight. Costs will go up for American families:
⚡️ Energy
🚙 Cars, trucks, and auto parts
⚙️ Metals
🥖 Baked goods
🥩 Meat
Remember: WE ALL pay for Trump tariffs, not Canada.
I strongly oppose President Trump and Elon Musk's illegal attacks on Americans' rights, our privacy, and our national security.
It's been great hearing from business owners about their issues and priorities today during Black Entrepreneurs Day at the Minnesota State Capitol. Black business owners play a key role in creating jobs, helping our communities build wealth, and growing our economy. I'm proud to support their work.
The Trump-Musk illegal shutdown of USAID is a serious attack on our national security. USAID’s work is a better and cheaper option to promote political stability than the alternative – more American boots on the ground and more money for bullets and bombs to fight terrorism.
President Trump is allowing unelected billionaire Elon Musk to illegally raid U.S. government agencies and seize Americans’ classified information from the Treasury. These are major attacks on our rights and our privacy.
Disrupting this critical trading partnership comes at a steep cost paid for by working Americans — not the countries importing their goods into the U.S.
All of us in the Great Lakes area will feel the impact of these tariffs more than any other part of the United States.
We share a peaceful border with Canada. They are fabulous trading partners and we both know how to play fair, especially when it comes to hockey.
