CA-31 got their kicks at the new Route 66 Centennial Monument in Azusa. The new mural and monument mark the 100th anniversary of the famous roadway.
Donald Trump attempted to threaten, harass, and indict lawmakers for using their first amendment rights and encouraging troops to follow lawful orders.
But they did not back down. Today, a grand jury rejected the bogus indictment.
Trump can try and silence our voices, but we will not stop.

Today, I welcomed Buddhist monks to Capitol Hill as they near the end of their walk for peace.
These monks walked 2,300 miles over more than 15 weeks to encourage unity, compassion, and gratitude.
What a powerful demonstration of peace.
I met with the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California. Drinking safe water is a vital resource we all need to be healthy. During our meeting, we discussed how to keep drinking water clean, accessible, and affordable for Southern California!

Last week, I met with the San Gabriel Water Quality Authority here in Washington to discuss their Community Project Funding for the 2026 fiscal year.
I will continue supporting their efforts to clean up the San Gabriel Basin and am grateful for their service protecting waterways in our community.
The only thing more powerful than hate is love.
Covina High School Graduate, Elly, and her husband tied the knot live last night during Bad Bunny’s moving Super Bowl halftime show.
Congratulations to the newlyweds!
Thank you to the teachers and faculty at Rorimer for celebrating and advancing bilingual education.
Congratulations to Rorimer Elementary in La Puente earning a Seal of Excellence from the California Association of Bilingual Education. Rorimer Elementary is one of only four schools in California to earn the title.
He is just a horrible bitter racist man who has no understanding of our country or the world.
Because if he did, he would know that Spanish is spoken in more countries around the world than any other language. abcnews.go.com/amp/US/trump...
Alzheimer’s disease affects over seven million people in the United States. I met with the @alzassociation.bsky.social and constituents to share what I’m doing in Congress to help patients and caregivers dealing with Alzheimer’s.
Delia reached out to my office after the IRS mistakenly sent her tax return to the wrong account. After months of waiting, she reached out to my office and we were able to finally deliver her tax return money back to her. If you have casework needs, my office is always here to help.
For local businesses, every penny counts. For Paradise Gym in San Dimas, that means giving back to the local community. This winter, they organized a toy drive & fundraiser to bring gifts to children hospitalized at City of Hope Hospital. Thank you for your kindness and dedication to our community!
Over the weekend, I joined West Covina and Monrovia at their Lunar New Year celebrations. I got to see traditional demonstrations from Covina Martial Arts and the Field Elementary School Lion Dance Team, the perfect way to ring in a new year!
Great to touch base with El Monte Union High School District Trustee Florencio Briones. I am committed to supporting robust, sustained federal investments in our students, educators, and schools.
I welcomed University of La Verne President Risa Dickson to my office to discuss protecting and expanding the Pell Grant and what we can do to protect our students and workforce. Thanks for your continued investment in our students and our community.
With these grants, our cities will finally get to see their parks and recreation centers get upgrades, bring in new technology for public safety systems, and make long overdue investments in water, transportation, and infrastructure.
I am proud to bring back over $18 million in federal funding that will go directly into our CA-31 community.
I refuse to stand by while our communities are attacked by ICE at the direction of Trump and Kristi Noem.
Today, I addressed a crowd of hundreds outside ICE HQ to demand Kristi Noem’s immediate impeachment for the safety and security of us all.
