As a nation, we have a time honored tradition to honor and care for the men and women who serve our country. President Trump has laid off our dedicated VA workers, including those who work at the veterans suicide helpline.
This Administration's disrespect for our nation's veterans is unacceptable.
Yesterday I joined the Town of Whitman in celebrating its 150th anniversary with a parade full of community pride, music, and history. My thanks to Rich Rosen and the entire Whitman 150th Committee for organizing such a memorable event honoring the town’s milestone.

House Republicans are clearing the path for Trump’s corruption by decimating the nonpartisan Government Accountability Office.
Acting RM @lynch.house.gov and Oversight Dems are fighting back against Republican cuts at the GAO.
Today we pause to recognize that day as #Juneteenth. However, as we celebrate the progress our nation has made we acknowledge the fact that the fight for equality is far from over.
Even though President Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation on January 1st, 1863, it was not until June 19th, 1865, more than two and a half years later, that the news of that proclamation was delivered to the 250,000 enslaved people in Texas by Major General Gordon Granger, Union Army.

Great turnout and a magnificent 400th Anniversary and Flag Day celebration in Quincy last night! Honored to March with Mayor Tom and Christine Koch, Auditor Diana DiZoglio, General Joe Dunford USMC and the Quincy Delegation! The City of Presidents at its best! 🇺🇸
Thank you to all who make this event possible year after year. My thanks to the parade organizers and Dedham’s first responders!
This year’s parade held a special meaning as we honored the life and legacy of the late Anthony “Juju” Mucciaccio. The Mucciaccio family represented him proudly as this year’s Grand Marshal.
Honored to once again march with my friends Senator Mike Rush and State Rep. Paul McMurtry in the 58th Annual Dedham Flag Day Parade! - Huge turnout of Marching Bands, Civic Groups, Veterans organizations and families who all showed up to celebrate.

WATCH: Subcommittee Ranking Member @lynch.house.gov offers a #transparency amendment, to the "CALAMITY Act," that would require the Inspector Generals of the Treasury and the SEC to conduct an annual report on any presidential #crypto holdings.
Boston will always be a place of intellectual freedom and respect for cultural freedom.
Rümeysa Öztürk came to Boston to study at Tufts University, where she was abducted off the street by unasked ICE Agents. The Gestapo-like actions of this Administration are unacceptable and illegal.

America’s neighborhoods are not war zones. Peaceful protesters are not enemy combatants—they’re Americans who have the constitutional right to peacefully assemble and speak up.

Great to welcome this year’s Congressional Art Competition winner, Lucy Zhang, to Washington to see her artwork, “Colors of the Commonwealth,” on display in the U.S. Capitol.
Congratulations Lucy!
Donald Trump’s blatant violation of ethics laws and exploitation of the Presidency to further his own financial gain cannot go unchecked.
