A wonderful celebration of Irish culture, Irish music and Irish Step dancing- with families and elected officials from across the South Shore. My sincere thanks to Representative Jamie and Maryanne Murphy and his family for a great day!
Great to join a packed house at State Representative Jamie Murphy’s Annual Saint Patrick’s Day Breakfast yesterday in Weymouth.
Please join me TOMORROW for our virtual Town Hall to discuss the work that Democrats in Congress and pro-democracy allies are doing to block the unlawful actions taken by the Trump Administration. I look forward to hearing your thoughts and answering your questions. ushr.zoomgov.com/webinar/regi...
This week, I voted NO on the disastrous budget proposed by the House Republican Leadership at the direction of President Trump. I will continue to work with my Democratic colleagues to prevent this bill from moving forward. Please see my comments on this bill here- www.instagram.com/p/DGlNzMjOXg...
Due to Republican leadership’s delaying of the vote on the budget resolution, I will need to reschedule the town hall meeting to Monday, March 3rd. I apologize for the inconvenience and I look forward to our virtual town hall on Monday.
I am very grateful that Governor Healey has decided to pause the plans to close Pappas Rehabilitation Hospital for Children in Canton. Please click the image to read my full statement.
Yesterday, I had the honor of launching the Congressional Public Housing Caucus. Having lived in public housing, I’m committed to expanding and modernizing public housing for America’s working families and will continue to make affordable public housing a top priority in Congress.
Please join me TODAY for our virtual Town Hall to discuss the work that Democrats in Congress and pro-democracy allies are doing to block the unlawful actions taken by the Trump Administration. I look forward to hearing your thoughts and answering your questions.

As a proud member of a postal family and a member of the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, I will happily fight any effort by Elon Musk and President Trump to eliminate the United States Postal Service and impair the public service mission of its dedicated workforce.
Tomorrow, February 21st, at 1:00 PM, I will be holding a rally at the West Roxbury VA (Spring St. entrance) in support of our veterans and federal workers who have been impacted by President Trump's massive layoffs.
The Digital Assets Subcommittee recently held its first hearing. As lead Democrat, I express concerns about the volatility and abuse of crypto assets. Americans lost more than $5.6 billion to crypto scams in 2023. Regulations are needed to ensure robust consumer protections and a stable economy.
By firing thousands of federal employees, many of them the best and the brightest of scientists, researchers, FBI special agents and Inspectors General, all patriots who were proud to serve our country. It is every American’s duty to resist this attack and speak the truth at every opportunity.
Very disappointed that Donald Trump and Elon Musk have forced the JFK Presidential Library to be closed to the public. Congress recently approved sufficient funding to keep the JFK Library open and this overreach is one more unlawful action by the Trump administration.
Please be advised that I will be holding a Virtual Town Hall on Tuesday, February 25th from 6:30 – 8:30PM EST.
Stay tuned for details on how to join!
It was an honor to welcome Chancellors Marcelo Suárez-Orozco and Javier Reyes of the University of Massachusetts, to the Capitol. I will continue to advocate and stand in strong solidarity with these institutions in opposing the proposed cuts to NIH funding by the Trump Administration.

Thanks for @lynch.house.gov for meeting with Fr. John and me to discuss exciting new initiatives at Stonehill and the impact of actions in DC on colleges and universities
I am proud to rejoin the @equality.house.gov for the 119th Congress. I will continue to fight for the LGBTQIA+ community in the wake of repeated political attacks by the Trump Administration.
