And while you may disagree, I think it both serves constituents and the responsibilities of my office to oppose US funded atrocities and to work towards lasting peace FOR ALL instead. Thank you for expressing your concern.
It's the point you made. I've mentioned Hamas + hostages countless times since that day, but I don't believe that's the offense you've taken, but instead mentioning the absolute devastation in Gaza in any way, the immeasurable loss and blatant atrocities there has proven the problem for some.
It's why will work and fight fervently every day of the 119th and beyond for justice, peace, accountability... until that more perfect union is actualized for even the least of these and in between. Thank you, PA-12. We're ready.
Yesterday, I had the honor of being sworn in to represent the people of PA-12 in the US House of Representatives for my 2nd term. I will never take for granted the position my district has entrusted me or the history and ancestry I am a part of.
At the theatre watching Wicked for my birthday and trying not to be one of those people who get put out for singing. Pray for me and the theatre goers.
Perhaps you don't, as an individual, feel like king of the mountain. But it's simply a fact that in these United States (and many other places), there is no demographic that occupies a higher ground on the mountain than white men nor used that leverage to control the ascent of others.
Today in Oversight, Republicans argue essentially that any opportunity extended to women or marginalized people is an existential threat to white conservative men's ability to remain "king of the mountain." I asked v simply is America not greater when ALL Americans have the opportunity to succeed?

Lee: Why do predominantly conservative white men believe that the success of a black person or the opportunity or the access of black person is an existential threat to them?
Before i show up anywhere,I usually ask "who all gon be there," because I'm already socially awkward But I'm leaping out on faith with yall this time! May the spirit of reevaulation and new beginnings go beyond just a new social media project in this new era... ok.
