The House just passed a War Powers Resolution. Congress and the American people have spoken: Donald Trump needs to end his reckless war of choice in Iran NOW.
Happy Pride Month! 🏳️🌈 As a proud member of the @equality.house.gov, and a representative of the city of brotherly love and sisterly affection, I'm working every day in Congress to defend the rights of our LGBTQIA+ community.
Just because this Administration deems someone a criminal does not mean they are guilty. Nobody, not even President Trump, can deny someone their constitutional right to due process.
@repjohnlarson.govpeeps.us and I led 74 of our colleagues in a letter to Commissioner Bisignano demanding answers.
Reckless SSA staff cuts and reassignments have resulted in reduced in-person services, office closures, and service delays for beneficiaries. We need to make it easier for constituents to access their benefits, not harder.
Reading this bill, it has never been more clear: my Republican colleagues can always find the money for wars and private prisons, but not to help women and children eat healthy food.
Take a look at $30 of fresh fruits and vegetables that Head Start programs provide. Under the White House's proposed cuts, this is all a Mom and her kids would have for a MONTH. This is plain wrong, especially given the lavish lifestyle of the President and his political allies.
The President has made it clear that he does not care about ending corruption. Congress must enact legislation that would make actions like his payout to criminals illegal.
No president should be able to give political allies a taxpayer-funded reward. While this bipartisan opposition is encouraging, the story is not over yet.
This bill does not prioritize hardworking and vulnerable Americans.
It is so important to connect our local farmers with the folks who need food. At a time when families are struggling with grocery costs, House Republicans are bringing a bill to the floor that fails to fully fund WIC fruit and vegetable benefits.
Some positive news during Pride Month!
At the Delco Environmental Expo, I heard the concerns of our community and joined with state and local leaders to share how we are fighting for the environment.
Over the last year and a half, Americans have watched in horror as the Trump Administration has gutted agencies and laws designed to protect our environment and our children's future health and well-being.
Pretty rich coming from someone whose biggest concern is building his $400 MILLION vanity project. The majority of Americans are being forced to choose between filling their gas tank and putting food on the table. It's truly shocking how far removed this Administration is from reality.
Last week I spent time with students at Lower Merion High School discussing legislative issues, leadership, challenges in Congress, and the power of civic participation. It was wonderful to engage in such important conversations with our future leaders!
This Administration's violations of the rule of law, our Constitution, and ethical boundaries have caused a stunning exodus of legal talent from the federal government.

Today, @RepRaskin released a new fact sheet detailing the top 10 reasons why Trump’s $1.776 billion slush fund and super-pardon for his family and businesses are unconstitutional, illegal, and a fraud on the court.
My Right to Representation Act ensures legal representation to those encountering the child welfare system, promoting access to justice for the most vulnerable.

Child protection proceedings are by nature stressful, and children and families need help when navigating the complicated legal and emotional terrain.
