A man who voted for Trump says: “they are basically taking everyone in there working, whether they have proper documentation or not.”
The result:
Construction delays.
Higher prices.
Layoffs.
Trump’s mass deportation policies are “wreaking economic havoc.”

Donald Trump is running a government of, by, and for the Epstein class.
It must end.
Fire Howard Lutnick.
Today I joined more than a thousand Austinites celebrating what I think is the coolest bridge in Texas.
Three numbers every American should know today.
Bezos paid Trump $40 million for the 'Melania' documentary.
Now, Bezos saves $8 billion because of Trump's corporate tax cuts.
While 17 million Americans lose health care.
Corruption, plain and simple.
If Kristi Noem’s disaster preparedness plan has to be paused when there’s a disaster, it’s not a plan.
It’s a disaster.
Fire Kristi Noem. Save FEMA.
We just learned Kristi Noem’s “fiscal responsibility policies” are holding up $17 billion in approved disaster funds.
She’s preventing roads from being repaired and bridges from being fixed.
All while spending hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars on ad campaigns to promote herself.
After paying $40M for the Melania movie, Bezos is firing hundreds of Washington Post reporters who tell us actual facts.
All while turning the editorial board into a billionaire-defense operation.
Too often, the billionaires who control our biggest media outlets are selling out our country.
Children and families are being held in ICE facilities with inhumane conditions. We should be closing them — not building more.
@joaquincastrotx.bsky.social and I are opposed to any expansion of ICE’s presence in San Antonio.
We’ll fight with every tool we have to prevent it.
Today, I stood outside ICE Headquarters with other House Democrats to demand an end to Kristi Noem's reign of terror at ICE and an end to Donald Trump's mass deportation policies.
Jeff Bezos gave Trump $40 million by buying the 'Melania' documentary through Amazon.
Last week, it premiered.
Now, Trump's 'Secretary of War' visits Bezos' Blue Origin, which gets billions in government contracts.
Trump gets paid. Taxpayers get screwed.
"Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth heaped praise on Jeff Bezos-backed Blue Origin in a visit to the space venture’s facility...the company has signaled recently that it’s narrowing its focus to the work it’s contracted to do for the federal government." www.bloomberg.com/news/article...
While carrying out Trump’s cruel deportation policies, Kristi Noem is holding up $17 billion in disaster funds.
That’s stuff like: fixing bridges and water and sewer systems.
This is a scandal.
Fire Kristi Noem. Save FEMA.
Coffee up 20%.
Ground beef up 15.5%.
While Republicans give $75 billion to ICE, costs for “household staples are soaring,” new data shows.
Under any other president, this would be treated as the biggest corruption scandal in American history.
A foreign government giving hundreds of millions of dollars directly to the Trumps.
He promised to make your family better off, but instead he’s cashing in for his own.
We cannot allow America to become a country where journalists get arrested because the president doesn't like their coverage.
Free Don Lemon.
At Liam’s school, three other kids have been taken by ICE.
A U.S. citizen child with a brain tumor was deported away from her Texas doctors.
Austin college student Any Lopez Belloza was deported by “mistake” and still can't come home.
Trump's chaos and cruelty has to end.

You've probably seen the picture.
A small child, Spider-Man backpack, used as bait by federal agents.
Whatever your politics, I'd ask you to stop for a moment and ask: what if that was your child?
Today I joined @joaquincastrotx.bsky.social and @crockett.house.gov to demand: free Liam Ramos.

Any Lucía López Belloza, an Austin college student who was wrongfully deported, should be able to return to the U.S. immediately.
Led by @repcasar.bsky.social and @warren.senate.gov, 80 Dem. members of Congress urged the Trump admin to let her return to the U.S., so she can continue her education.

The Trump Administration admitted deporting Any Lopez Belloza in violation of a court order was a “mistake.”
Now they need to make it right and bring her home.
80 members of Congress joined me and @warren.senate.gov in demanding they do it today.
