Trump’s megabill rolls back many of these gains & makes America more expensive for middle-class families, all so he could give the ultra-wealthy another huge tax break.
3 years ago, Democrats passed the Inflation Reduction Act, which cut energy bills, capped the price of insulin, & made health insurance more affordable.
It’s Back to School Month! Every child deserves a strong start, which is why I’m focused on supporting our schools, teachers, and families as the new school year begins.
The Trump admin is cutting off funding that supports WA salmon recovery. I’m joining WA Democrats urging Interior Secretary Burgum to restore the $1.3M that supports this work. Let’s protect WA’s habitat, communities, & heritage.
I’m continuing to stand up for women, for families, for seniors, & committing to protecting Social Security for current & future generations. Together, we’ll keep building a stronger, more secure future. @demwomencaucus.bsky.social
Energy bills are going up for Washington families because of Trump’s megabill. The law is rolling back clean energy incentives that make solar for homes more affordable & instead giving tax breaks to oil companies.
Reliable jobs & economic data build trust in our economy. Trump fired the expert leading this work & wants to replace her with a political ally. This is a blatant attempt to cook the books. We must keep economic data independent & transparent.

Great to join local leaders at the Sound Cities Association lunch to discuss how we can work together to strengthen communities across the Puget Sound region. I appreciate their partnership in building a stronger, more connected region for everyone.
Trump’s tariffs are hurting Washington businesses & raising prices for families. The president clearly doesn’t have a plan & Congress needs to stand up for stable economic policy.

Trump’s megabill is the biggest transfer of wealth to the ultra-rich from working families in history.
What do businesses, families, & now even former Republican Speaker Paul Ryan have in common?
They all agree that Trump’s tariffs are bad for the economy & will raise prices on Americans.
This law is cruel & will force many in our state to go hungry just so the ultra-rich can get a tax cut.
800,000 Washingtonians rely on federal food assistance to make ends meet & feed their families.
Trump’s megabill cuts $186 billion from SNAP, reducing benefits for everyone on the program & kicking many off it entirely.
Today marks 3 years since the PACT Act was signed into law.
This historic law expands VA health care & benefits to veterans exposed to burn pits, Agent Orange, & other toxic substances.

Trump’s tariffs will cost the average household $2,400 this year in higher prices on everything from groceries to health care to car repairs.
WA is especially hard hit by tariffs because we are one of the most trade-dependent states.

Anyone else say no to pineapple on pizza?
I sat down & answered a few quick questions for my constituents to get to know me better.
Trump & Republicans promised to lower your prices on DAY ONE but all they’ve done is break that promise.
America is more unaffordable now because of their megabill & chaotic tariffs that are raising prices on everything from health care to groceries.
The Trump admin is cutting $500 million from vaccine development, threatening the cures & treatments of tomorrow.
Misinformation & conspiracy theories should not be driving decisions at our public health agencies.
