Corporations are paying less in taxes than working families. You pay your fair share and healthcare, groceries, gas and other essentials are still too expensive because of corporate greed.
The Administration’s decision to gut the Forest Service ahead of a severe wildfire season, losing critical AND regional expertise, puts Oregonians and the PNW in danger.
We’ll keep you posted and continue discussing the plan for wildfire response and coordination.
I will keep fighting to ensure our veterans who put their lives on the line to protect and serve our country get the benefits they earned.
I’m heading up to vote on the War Powers Resolution.
This war is unpopular among Democrats, Republicans and Independents and I hope my Republican colleagues will listen to their constituents and do the right thing.
2/ Union busting is disgusting and I stand with AFGE.
1/ A collective bargaining agreement is a contract and AFGE fought hard to achieve these rights for workers. This is just one more example of the Trump administration undermining the rights of union members while trying to convince Americans that they stand for working people.

I joined my colleagues from Oregon to introduce a resolution celebrating the hard work and achievements of six great Oregonians, two Paralympians and four Olympians. Their passion and dedication to their sport are inspiring to everyone.
The ALERT Act just passed the House thanks to the hard work of many people, especially the families of the DCA crash victims. We’ll keep working to enact the strongest possible aviation safety requirements.
Our Constitution guarantees freedom of religion and separation of church and state. For a U.S. President to threaten the head of the Church because he preaches a message of peace is ethically, morally and constitutionally wrong. At what point will my colleagues say enough is enough?
