I've joined @robinkelly.house.gov’s effort to impeach DHS Secretary Noem.
Noem’s complete disregard for the law and inhumane treatment of our neighbors can’t be ignored. Her army of ICE agents are terrorizing communities across the country and ignoring due process.
Noem must be held accountable.
It was great to join the ribbon cutting for Sunset Pier 94 Studios this morning.
Sunset Pier 94 will provide state-of-the-art production and sound studios right in Manhattan. It will create new jobs, bring expanded public access to the waterfront, and an improved, safer bikeway.
Trump promised to lower costs on Day One of his presidency.
One year later, Americans are still waiting for that to happen.
Meanwhile, Trump has cut taxes for his billionaire friends and made devastating cuts to Medicaid and SNAP.
Promises made, promises broken.
Republicans are attempting to pass a bill that would deport immigrants who are accused of committing fraud—not convicted, just accused.
Due process is a core value of our country and it is fundamentally un-American to deport someone who hasn't had their day in court.
Judiciary Republicans want to deport people accused of fraud.
It’s a good thing Trump was born in America, or he’d be at the top of the list.
Nurses should not have to strike for decent benefits, fair wages, and dignity.
I was proud to join @nynurses.bsky.social on the Mount Sinai Morningside picket line as they fight for a fair contract that protects them and the New Yorkers they care for.
I stand with nurses.
New York was the first state to ban cat declawing—an effort spearheaded by my friend, @lindabrosenthal.bsky.social.
Today, I'm proud to introduce a resolution opposing the inhumane and unnecessary practice of elective cat declawing nationwide. 🐈
With crime on the subway at its lowest level in 16 years and ridership up across the board, it’s a great time to ride the subway.
Congratulations to @MTA for receiving the TSA Gold Standard Award for Excellence in Transit Security.
This near-perfect score reflects the hard work and dedication of the transit employees who keep the largest transit system in America running every day.
@mayor.nyc.gov and @governor.ny.gov are delivering for working families.
This announcement is a great step in tackling the affordability crisis and will provide much-needed relief to families across New York. Universal childcare creates family and economic stability and allows parents to pursue careers.
Thank you, Steny, for your leadership and service to the American people. I wish you and your family well in this new chapter.
It has been an honor to serve alongside @hoyer.house.gov. He has dedicated his life to public service and I was proud to work with him on so many major pieces of legislation, including the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act of 2008.
I will never stop fighting to protect what they put their lives on the line to preserve.
We must never forget January 6, because the threat it revealed to our democracy has only deepened under Donald Trump’s second Administration.
Today and every day, we honor the officers who stood between a violent mob and our democracy on January 6.
Trump has rewarded violent insurrectionists who attacked law enforcement with sweeping pardons, while continuing to spread falsehoods about January 6 and the results of the 2020 election.
Five years ago today, Donald Trump incited a violent mob to attack the United States Capitol in a direct attempt to overturn a free and fair election.
One year later and it's clear congestion pricing is working and making New York better.
There's less traffic, safer streets, cleaner air, and major investments in public transit.
I’m proud to have fought to make this a reality for decades and New Yorkers are seeing the benefits every day.
This year, my office sent over 70,000 letters to constituents and I cosponsored over 300 pieces of legislation.
Check out my end of year newsletter to see more of the great work my staff and I accomplished this past year.

ALL of the Epstein files are required by law to be released TODAY.
Trump's refusal to release the full Epstein files today is simply a continuation of the White House coverup.
Americans deserve the truth. The victims and survivors deserve justice. Release the files.
