@repherbconaway.bsky.social and I have already worked together to press the administration for answers on reports involving Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, and I look forward to continuing that work with him on @democrats-armedservices.house.gov
Great to be back with my labor brothers and sisters at Teamsters Local 676 today. We talked about strengthening workplace safety, leveling the playing field in contract negotiations, and why a union job is the ticket to the middle class.
Military families are the backbone of our national defense, and we owe them a debt of gratitude for all they do to support our servicemembers. This month, we honor our veterans, active-duty service members, and the families who stand with them every step of the way.
60% of SNAP beneficiaries are seniors or children. SNAP is one of the most effective anti-hunger programs we have, but Trump is making it harder for working families to put food on the table. His new plan will cost the taxpayer more money, prioritizing paperwork over feeding working families.
We're standing in solidarity with @sbworkersunited.org as they strike for a first contract ✊ For over 4 years, workers have fought for a fair union contract. It’s time for Starbucks to bargain in good faith and for workers to get the contract they deserve.
