The Everglades immigrant internment camp is a testament to cruelty, waste, and corruption. It needs to be closed.

A judge just ruled the Everglades internment camp should shut down operations, a new report indicates.
I agree. This camp threatens our precious Everglades and was built to be a cruel, inhumane political stunt.
Join keynote speaker and Florida Panthers President/GM Bill Zito and I at my second Cancer Survivorship Summit, where we'll address life after diagnosis, highlight gaps in care, discuss policy, and provide local and national resources.

@wassermanschultz.house.gov and I teamed up to demand answers from the Trump Administration on the cruel and dangerous Alligator Alcatraz facility—an independent, unaccountable detention system that threatens human rights and due process for migrants.
The Everglades internment camp threatens human rights, due process, Tribal interests and this sensitive environment.

Congress needs to talk to the architects of Epstein's sweetheart deal.
Republicans need to stop covering up for this child sex predator and his old friend in the White House. Epstein's victims deserve the truth.

Instead of eliminating spending, DOGE and Republicans wasted billions of taxpayer dollars.
We need to make life less expensive, but Trump is doing the opposite.

When I go to the grocery store, all I hear from neighbors is how high costs are hurting them.
We should make childcare and housing more accessible and less expensive, not waste time and money giving billionaires tax breaks.
Republicans relentlessly attack our health care system, but there’s still ways to improve it.
I have several bipartisan bills to help people beat cancer and reduce barriers to health care. I'll do all I can to improve Americans' health care.
My second Cancer Survivorship Summit is coming up!
We'll bring together survivors, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to share stories, support one another, and learn about the latest advancements in cancer survivorship.

Democrats are joining lawsuits across the country to stop the Trump Administration's chaos.
It's essential that we reverse these destructive firings and cuts.
Summer is made for jumping in the pool, but we still need to protect our kids.
Congress needs to pass my bipartisan Virginia Graeme Pool and Spa Safety Act to ensure we can have enjoy the pool safely.
I join all Colombians in mourning the despicable murder of Miguel Uribe Turbay. The American people stand against political violence and the U.S. and Colombia must continue to invest in peace and security.
My heart is with his loved ones. May his memory be for a blessing.
Republicans tried to pass a law that lets them ban books based on vague criteria, but a judge just stopped them. This is a major win for academic freedom.
Florida students deserve to read books that represent them and open up their world to new ideas. www.sun-sentinel.com/2025/08/13/k...
Given attempts to dismantle and privatize the VA, it’s not surprising medical staff shortages there are worse under Trump.
He must reverse course, fill jobs immediately, and end the assault on VA workers. Veterans deserve better.

Social Security has been a lifeline for American seniors for 90 years.
While Trump aims to privatize these critical benefits, Democrats will fight to protect and expand them.
Trump intentionally makes it harder for our veterans to get care.
I'll work with Democrats or across the aisle to end these needless VA shortages.

Alignment stats consider only votes where a clear yes/no majority existed for the legislator's party. Cross-party marks divergence where the vote matched the opposite party majority. ↔ indicates cross-party divergence.
