As I saw once again first-hand today during a fantastic visit, the women and men of America’s first and finest public shipyard are critical to our national security. I’m proud to be bringing the voices and priorities of the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard to my work on the House Armed Services Committee.

Each person I heard from today shared the life-changing and life-saving impacts that service dogs have had on their lives, and I’m bringing each of every one of their ideas and voices to my work in Congress. 🇺🇸
I had the honor of spending the afternoon in Hollis today with a group of truly extraordinary veterans from across New Hampshire who have come together in community through an amazing organization called Operation Delta Dog.
We owe a debt of gratitude that we can never fully repay to America’s veterans. They put their lives on the line for our country, and many endured unimaginable stress and trauma in the line of duty. It is our enduring duty to deliver the care and support they need to thrive.
The Trump Administration is lawlessly withholding $27 million that Congress promised to New Hampshire public schools.
I will not rest until every dollar promised to the people of New Hampshire is delivered.

Grateful to ReVision Energy and NH Small Business Development Center for their role in putting game-changing federal programs to work that have lowered costs & helped deliver reliable, clean power for Goosebay Lumber.
I’ll never stop working to lower costs so NH small businesses can thrive.
Awesome afternoon in Chichester today with the amazing team at Goosebay Sawmill & Lumber, Inc. This family-owned and solar-powered sawmill and lumberyard has been a staple for New Hampshire’s wood production and supply for 45 years.
The Trump Administration is trying to put America’s watchdog out of business. We’re fighting back.
I’m working to make government work better for hardworking people, including by cracking down on waste, fraud, and abuse.
One of the most important partners in this work is the Government Accountability Office—aka GAO—our independent, nonpartisan watchdog that saves billions in taxpayer dollars.
Hardworking Granite Staters are paying the price for President Trump’s unlawful and reckless trade wars.
I’m fighting back, in Congress and the courts, to end the chaos.
New Hampshire firefighters and first responders put their lives on the line every day to keep us safe. These American heroes deserve our full support.
Honored to join NH Fire Chiefs at the New Hampshire Fire Academy this morning to discuss how Congress can deliver for our brave first responders.
Fantastic day in Littleton yesterday.
I hope you’ll come visit soon!
New Hampshire’s forests are a national treasure, and they are essential to our economy and our way of life.
Today in Bethlehem, I joined the Forest Society to discuss their work and how Congress can help protect and preserve the natural resources that make New Hampshire the best place to call home.
President Trump’s plan to cut funding for the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area program is bad news for NH and America.
That’s why I’m working with Congressman Chris Pappas to protect this program and the federal funding that helps hold drug traffickers accountable.

New Hampshire thrives when we support one another. That truth was on full display this afternoon in Concord where I met with the extraordinary team at Fellowship Housing Opportunities.
Important conversation about the ways that housing is mission-critical to tackling our mental healthcare crisis.
“Goodlander visits Fellowship Housing Opportunities to discuss cuts to Medicaid”
For 175 years, Waypoint has delivered critical support & services to all ages—from housing to healthcare & beyond. Waypoint is a lifeline for thousands of people across NH—from Nashua to the North Country.
Today, I visited their team & discussed how Congress can be a partner in their vital work.
I was a hard no on this bill, and I will never stop working to stop its worst provisions from going into effect.
NH families are going to pay the price for the GOP’s budget bill — a bill that will skyrocket our national debt and make the biggest cuts to healthcare in American history.
And for what? To pay for trillions of dollars in tax giveaways to billionaires and big corporations who do not need them.
