Celebrated #NationalNursesWeek, with dutiful nurses at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Toledo. Our nurses show caring and compassion day in and day out, and I will fight for them not just today, or this week, but 365 days a year—thank you for all you do!
$5 gasoline and $6 diesel is not a success story for America's families. It’s really gouging them. We need to stop the war on Iran and help America's families afford living in this country again.

📢ICYMI 📢
Energetic crowds of union members came out in Detroit and Toledo to talk about a bold new trade agenda that works for working people.
Shoulder to shoulder in solidarity with workers from @UAW.org Local 1327 fighting for a fair contract. Standing together, workers win. Solidarity forever. #1u
The cost of everything is up, but wages haven’t kept up, and the federal minimum wage hasn’t gone up since 2009.
-Gas is up
-Diesel is up
-Food is up
-Rent is up
We need to end the war of choice in Iran, let the Billionaires pay for the Ballroom, and bring down the cost of living.
The American people are weathering $5 gas, $6 diesel, and skyrocketing fertilizer costs because of the war of choice in Iran, and now the GOP want you to pay $1 Billion for a ballroom. Somebody help make this make sense.
Thank you Sandusky Central Catholic for a great visit. Our Constitution calls us to promote the general welfare, and ensure a government of, by, and for The People. I’m encouraged by the next generation of NW Ohio leaders being educated in schools across our region.
Delegates to the Ohio Postal Workers Union from across the state gathered for their 2026 Convention in Perrysburg. The Postal Service is foundational to the American way of life. As a former letter carrier, it’s an honor to stand with the men and women who work to make it strong.
American forces in Europe have been vital to our national interest, and national security dating back to WWII. Their mission is based on the common defense of the United States and our Allies and friends.

The President's war of choice in Iran caused gas & diesel prices in Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin and Ohio to rise to their highest level since the summer of 2022. Over the next 24 hours Americans from coast to coast will spend half a Billion $ more on gas than they would have on March 1st.
🚨🚨After 3 months calling for a clean bill to fund DHS, we finally got a vote! The shutdown ends once the President signs the bill which passed the Senate a month ago and now, finally, the House. FEMA, TSA, and Coast Guard workers will be paid while we work to address ICE and CBP reform.
The future of American innovation and production lives here in Northwest Ohio.

As Co-Chair of the Congressional Auto Caucus, I know that auto manufacturing is the spine of industrial America. I will continue to work with UAW Local 14 to encourage further GM investment here and to ensure that auto manufacturing in our Heartland doesn’t just survive, but thrives.

🧵 The GM announcement that it will invest an additional $40 Million in Toledo Propulsion Systems is good news for local jobs, and a reaffirmation that our region will be a part of GM’s auto manufacturing footprint for years to come.

US agriculture impacts every American, and it is the lifeblood of each of us and of all the individuals we represent. We look across our country and we see farmers, ranchers, urban growers now, and our rural producers who serve Americans all the way from our Heartland, across from coast to coast.
